Tim Tebow was always viewed as a winner during his time in Florida. It's been different in the NFL. Tebow has been seen as a "Linebacker playing quarterback". While this statement is somewhat true the guy is a winner. Throw out his 45.5 completion percentage, throw out his quirky throwing style. Look at his 8 TD passes compared to only 1 INT. Look at his 5.8 yards per carry along with 3 rushing TD. Most importantly though, look at his record. The guy is a winner. He's 5-1 since taking over for Kyle Orton, who was 1-4 this season before being replaced. The Denver Broncos were a team struggling to get off the ground with Orton at QB. Since Tebow has stepped in the Broncos are flying high. First game the former Florida Gator started in Miami against the then-winless Miami Dolphins, the Broncos were down 15-0 in the 4th quarter. Tebow then led a TD drive capped by his 1st TD pass to Demaryius Thomas to cut it 15-7. Then the Broncos forced a 3 and out and Tebow then led Denver down the field, capped by his TD pass to Daniel Fells and running in for the 2-pt conversion to tie it at 15. The Broncos went on to win the game 18-15 in OT and kicked off "Tebow Mania". The skeptics say he can't throw. This is somewhat true. In his 4th start he was 2/8 for 67 yards and a TD pass. Yet the Broncos beat the Kansas City Chiefs. Four days later on Thursday Night Football against the defensive minded New York Jets. Tebow scampered for the go-ahead TD in the 4th quarter and give the Broncos a 17-13 win. This past Sunday against the San Diego Chargers on the road, the Broncos were down to a final drive down 3 in the 4th quarter. Tebow led them down the field where Matt Prater kicked the game-tying FG to send the game to OT. In OT, after a San Diego missed FG, Tebow moved them down the field and in position for a game-winning Matt Prater FG and the Broncos won 16-13 in OT. The point is this guy is a winner. You can't deny this fact. This is why the Broncos will make the playoffs and possibly make some noise.
